The Golden Pawn Chronicles

Strategic Faith…Spiritual Strategy

This is a journey, of faith and hope that I am being called to share.
VISION: To create a community that delves  into various passages with the aim to provide thoughtful reflections and practical applications for our spiritual lives.

The Golden Pawn serves as a symbol for the journey of faith and growth in our spiritual lives.
Much like a pawn in chess, which moves forward with purpose and can transform into a powerful piece, our genuine faith journeys are marked by encouraging progress and the potential for profound transformation through the teachings of Jesus. Let’s get started sharing.

Do you wake up feeling like you are observing your life through the lens of a fogged up looking glass?  There’s a sense of breath held?

That at any moment the foggy lens might erupt with a slight disturbance of light and sound; into a dazzling display of colors and distractions that combine to make an intense kaleidoscope.

Days filled with realities, hard truths, hard knocks and nonsense that makes you feel CRAZY.  Maybe you are just floating through with the “dirty windshield” view on life, where you can see the dirt spots when the lights shine brightly on them blinding you to the road ahead.

All your problems tend to remain “unseen” in plain sight, until the next bright “headlight” or good rainstorm comes and fogs up your windshield. A lot of times those rainstorms look like deep wounds from those that were supposed to love and protect us, betrayals from a partner who vowed to love you until “Death do you part”, anxiety, depression, quiet illnesses that steal our comfort, losses that are too personal to share….No matter how dirty the interior of your windshield, You are Not Alone.

As you journey through these insights, take a moment…or a few and Stop Floating.
Be Still and Be Encouraged.
No matter how lonely you feel, You are Not Alone.

I want you to know that my prayers for you come from Colossians 1, starting with verse 9, “For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. 10 And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way:bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, 11 being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience and joyfully 12 giving thanks to the Father, who has QUALIFIED you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. 13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by him ALL things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities, ALL THINGS were created by him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. 21 Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. 22 But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body, through death, to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation – 23 if you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel.” Amen.

In this world, where we will discover the tangible darkness that we forget is surrounding us at every turn, please join me in a quest for finding Peace & Hope, together with Jesus.
